Information Barrie, the community information and referral service of the Barrie Public Library is pleased to announce that the 2007 hardcopy edition of the Barrie Community Directory is now available for purchase.
What is the Barrie Community Directory?
The Barrie Community Directory includes information about nonprofit agencies, government offices, churches, religious organizations, clubs and special interest organizations and listings for many private counsellors and counselling services in the Barrie area. The Directory is searchable by both name and subject. The 2007 Directory contains 1076 entries. Every entry has been updated since the 2004 print edition of the directory. Since the 2004 edition there are 142 new entries and 115 entries have been deleted.

How do I get a copy of the Barrie Community Directory?
You can get a copy of the Barrie Community Directory by picking one up at the Library’s Circulation Desk at the main entrance. You may also order by telephone or mail. All orders must be prepaid. To order by telephone call (705) 728-1010, payment can be made by VISA. For mail orders fill out the order form (pdf) and send along with payment by VISA or cheque.
How much does the Barrie Community Directory cost?
The print Directory can be purchased at the Barrie Public Library at a cost of $35.00 per copy. If the Directory is mailed a $7.00 shipping and handling charge will apply. All prices include taxes.
