Ask a Librarian: Recommend a Title
We welcome
our library members' suggestions for the purchase of new materials
(material published within the last 12 months). Please provide
the following information:
- Author
- Title
- Format
(e.g. Book, CD, video or DVD)
- What
is this request about - what is the subject?
- Where
did you hear about the title?
- Your
name and e-mail address
- Your
library card number (all 14 digits)
Information
Services staff will take your requests in person or over the
telephone (728-1010 option 3 or ext. 7020) or e-mail
us your suggestion providing as much information as possible.
If
the book is ordered, you will be placed on the hold list and
notified when it arrives. If the book is not ordered, the
staff member who makes the decision will contact you with
the reason(s).
For specialized,
technical, older, or out-of-print materials, you may wish
to consider using our Interlibrary
Loan Service.
Please
note: We cannot add all suggested materials. View our

Development Policy** to see the guidelines we follow
to decide what materials to add to the collection.
